Rainy Day pages

I'm still taking advantage of this rainy day.

I like to take pictures of every step of our trip.
Here is us on the shuttle bus from the parking garage to the airport.

I used sketch #89 from Sketches in Thyme:

And next is a page using this sketch from The Scrappiest #152:

I added some clusters of buttons to look like clouds.  :)

Have a great evening!

A Mickey Photo CD pocket

Good morning all!  It looks like rain on this dreary October morning.  I guess I'll have to stay in and scrap all day.

I needed to have a page in my album where I could keep our photo CD's together.  You just never know when you might want to go back and do some reprinting or add a few more pictures.

Here is a quick and simple idea for a little pocket for the CD's:

I simply grabbed a piece of card stock and scored the sides to make a pocket and added a few stickers.  I know...not that original, but it served it's purpose.  :)

This was for the Special Project challenge at "If It's Groovy".
Stop by and see all the special projects from the DT!
Fabulous ideas and with the holidays coming up quickly, I'm sure you will be inspired.  :)

Have a great Saturday!!!

Let's start the planning!

Well, I was hoping to do this in chronological order, but....

Here are some fun postcards we received wishing us a fabulous vacation.  And I just had to include the planning CD, too.

And all this was done using a great sketch from Paper Secrets....and buttons....gotta have buttons!

We're Going to DISNEY!!

Hi all!!  Wendy here....with a whole new blog!  I take so many pictures when we go to Disney, and I spend so much time scrapping them, I decided to start a blog that is ALL about our Disney trip!

I'll still be using inspiration from all of my favorite websites, they will just be "Disney-fied".

I hope you enjoy our trip as much as we did!

Here is my first page:

I started out with a fun sketch from Brenda at Granddiva's Creative Corner:

I flipped the picture and instead of using flowers, I used some Mickey Head paint chips from Home Depot.  I love that there is just a touch of glitter to so many of the elements.

I am so happy to finally be ready to work on our vacation album!
