Meeting Merida

This Meet and Greet was a total surprise for us.  We came around the corner and there was the line to meet Merida and her friends.

This was for the Practical Scrappers sketch challenge

And this was was put together with a lot of 4x6 papers that I had laying around everywhere.

Disney Knock out!

I'm knocking out some more Disney pages today!  Wish I were outside enjoying the weather, but allergies are saying no way!

Here is what I did so far...

I used a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.  The photo mat is a piece of corrugated that was dabbed with white paint.

This one came from using a sketch from S.W.A.T..

Just a few splatters of gold glitter Stickles.

And then my favorite so far today...

I love these guys!

i used some fabric buttons, felt acorns and a few flowers.

Good morning!  Trying to decide if I should work on Disney pages or Fall pages today....

I guess I'll have to do a little bit of both.

Mouse Mania

Love the photo shoot we get with Mickey and Minnie!  This is new to the parks.  Before it was only Mickey.  But since they moved him (tore down his house), they changed it up a bit and managed to make it better.

I used a sketch by Paper Secrets...but forgot to add the twist..school supplies!  So I'm off to use the sketch the correct way this time.

Good Morning!!

Had a fabulous Sunday planned...and then the rain came.  :(

Guess I'm stuck in the house doing laundry and scrapping all day....try not to feel too sorry for me.   :)

Meeting Minnie!

Gotta love when not only am I able to finish another page, but I did it without thinking about shopping for new stuff!  

I saw this picture and thought DANG!  I don't have any Disney stuff with Minnie in pink!

Oh well...

I made it work with just one paper collection, a few pink buttons and some black trim.

I used the Sweet Shoppe collection from Lily Bee along with their sketch challenge.

I punched some flowers from the patterned papers, added a few white flowers and buttons.  

I felt like I made it over a huge hurdle!  I didn't have to add anything to the shopping list!! 

WOOHOOO!!!

Kids and the hubby are off to watch the football game and I have the house to myself!  WOOHOO!!

For this one I used a sketch from Paper Secrets.  The twist was to use an embossing folder, but since I don't have one, I used the sketch to knock out a few more pictures anyway.  

And this was inspired by a sketch from Rochelle Spears.

The title is a felt piece that has been around forever.  And I was able to use lots of Queen and Co washi tape.

Finding just the right papers to compliment these colors was a bit difficult.  I knew I held onto this older collection for a reason!

A Royal Feast

One thing that is a must do for every trip is to have breakfast at Cinderella's Castle.  Not only do we enjoy getting into the park before everyone else, but the food is amazing and the kids have a great time getting into the spirit.

Lots of bling and I finally used these cute little stickers!

Back again with another page using another sketch from 2 Broke Girls!

I used some chipboard circles and sprayed them with Glimmer Mist.  

A few pieces of decorative trim and a bunch of buttons and it's all finished!

All Bugged Out

Another one of our "must do's" at The Animal Kingdom, is head to the Tree of Life to watch It's a Bug's Life.
I think their favorite part is just being silly with the 3D glasses.

I used a black paint dabber to spot up the background.

My inspiration is again from 2 Broke Girls

Broke into the stash of specialty papers for this fun page.

The background paper is the negative from a circle I had cut out for a previous page.

I used a few pieces of corrugated and cork.  

And for a bit more texture, I used some burlap flowers from Little Yellow Bicycle.
